Conditions of Play
- Play will be governed by the ‘Rules of Golf’ and will apply together with the Local Rules of the Huon Valley Golf Club.
- The Bill Wellington Memorial Huon Valley Open is a Toogood Trophy Event.
- The decision of the Tournament Committee is final in all matters relating to the Tournament. Protests must be made to the Committee no later than five minutes after the conclusion of the day’s play.
- The Committee reserves the right to refuse an entry, and to change the conditions of the event. Forced changes due to weather – every attempt will be made to maximize the number of holes played.
- All competitors must have an Australian handicap. Please provide your GolfLink number on your entry form.
- All competitors are permitted entry to the Club on Friday 14 January to practise.
- If maximum numbers of entries are received, excess numbers will be balloted out at the Committee’s discretion. Balloted players will be notified by phone.
- If a competitor fails to report for any round without a satisfactory reason to the Committee, future entry for the event may be refused.
- Entry fee is to be forwarded at the time of entry.
- In the event of a tie:
(a) Gross events will be decided by a three hole aggregate playoff; if scores are still tied then play is to continue on a hole by hole basis.
(b) Nett events will be decided on a countback. - Motorised golf carts only permitted with a medical certificate accompany entry form.
