Kate Rumney and the Olave group of Girl Guides Tasmania would like to thank the Huon Valley Golf Club for supporting fundraising efforts through the recent BBQ. Kate would also like to thank those individuals who made donations. The $230 raised will be going towards funding a suicide prevention workshop. The safe TALK workshop educates people on how to recognise people at risk of suicide and prevent them from suiciding. The workshop is free and is aimed at members of the Guiding community as well as the general public.
